About
Holly Wood was established in 1999 by husband and wife duo, Vince and Ronelle Muir, out of the garage of their home. With a dream of creating a brand synonymous with home and family, the business evolved from idea into the design-led kitchen and furniture company that it is today.
The first store was opened in 2000 in the historic rural grounds of the Barnyard. The quirky space gave the brand it’s first personality, with chickens often roosting in the drawers and cupboards. The natural progression of the company has led it to where it is today, based in our combined showroom and factory in Retreat, Cape Town.
As the company moves into the new era of Holly Wood, rebranded as The Holly Wood Design Studio, it aims to provide customers with an overall design service covering all parts of home renovations. With more than 20 years experience in the industry and more passion for design than, Holly Wood looks forward to creating more homes out of houses and special places for family and friends to gather.
