Welcome to Constructify — South Africa’s online marketplace connecting homeowners with renovation and construction professionals.
Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using our website, https://www.constructify.co.za (“Site”), operated by Constructify, a sole proprietorship based in South Africa. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site.
Constructify provides a platform where users can browse, search, and connect with home renovation and construction providers (“Providers”) across South Africa. While we facilitate connections, we do not provide the actual services and are not a party to any agreement between users and providers.
You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
To access certain features (e.g. to list services), Providers must register and create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and to update your information as needed.
Constructify reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or is suspected of misuse or fraud.
Listing a service as a Provider on Constructify is subject to a flat monthly subscription fee. Users (homeowners) may browse and contact Providers free of charge.
Constructify does not charge commission on jobs and is not involved in any transaction or payment between Providers and Users.
All content on the Site, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, and layout, is the property of Constructify or its licensors and is protected by South African and international copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or exploit any portion of the Site without our express written permission.
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Constructify. We are not responsible for the content, terms, or practices of any third-party websites.
Constructify acts solely as a directory and connection platform. We do not guarantee or warrant the accuracy, quality, legality, or performance of any service offered by Providers listed on our Site.
We do not screen, endorse, or guarantee any Provider. Users engage with Providers at their own risk and are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence before hiring.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Constructify shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the Site or any services obtained through it.
This includes, but is not limited to, damages for personal injury, loss of profits, disputes between users and providers, or property damage.
You agree to indemnify and hold Constructify and its owner harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use or misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms, or your interaction with any other user or provider.
Constructify reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will indicate the date of the latest update at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
